Day 35 Middletown, OH to Greenfield, OH (Paint Creek State Park) 66 bike miles; 2454 cumulative miles

Mike and Katie graciously got up early Sunday morning to make a delicious breakfast of eggs and vegetables. (Mike and Katie don't drink coffee, so Charlie whipped out his supplies and provided his trademark freshly ground brew.) Jacob soon joined us and of course was the center of attention.

Then it was time for the bikers to bid good bye and continue their journey.

The previous evening we had driven about 35 miles up I-75 and I-70 to get to Mike and Katie's. Now we needed to retrace our steps back in Tiggy to Middletown, where we

resumed our biking. We passed through Lebanon, with its beautiful Victorian homes. We also passed through several small towns while travelling
southeast on US 73. We passed by a quite heavily used bike path along the river, on our way to Blanchester, which is one of the time stages of the RAM.
At Blanchester, we headed east on Route 28, passing by
mostly farms and pastures, and passing through small towns such as Martinsville, Famers Station, New Vienna, Highland, and Leesburg, none of which had any place to stay. Finally at Greenfield, we detoured about 8 miles south and stayed at Paint Creek State Park.
